Today we’re going to talk about how to start Shopee dropshipping in the Philippines. I’m going to share with you all the important information and steps that you need to know to get started. I personally owned a Shopee dropshipping store, and I’m going to just share the process that I did go through.
Dropshipping is the most affordable way to start an eCommerce business in the Philippines. You don’t need to have product stocks on hand, and that’s one of the reasons why it’s affordable to get started. I’m assuming that you already know what is dropshipping and how the process is, and you are just here to know how you can specifically do it with Shopee Philippines.
Here’s how the Shopee dropshipping process in the Philippines. I will explain all of these steps later in this article, so make sure to read down to the bottom of this article.
- Your supplier will create a Shopee store for you. You just need to give them the name you want for your store.
- Once they’re done creating your Shopee store, they will give the store login credentials via email.
- You need to optimize your product listings inside your store, like adding unique product descriptions, and beautiful product images, and markup the price for your profit.
- Once someone buys any product from your store, your supplier will be automatically notified and they will fulfill your orders.
- It would take some time for you to get organic sales. So once you’re done setting up your store, you can start advertising your product listing inside Shopee, like the Shopee search ads.

There are other factors and reasons for a product listing to rank on the customer’s search results, such as your product’s number of sales and good reviews, so it’s still important to run ads inside Shopee to get your first few customers and get good reviews.
Optimizing Your Product Images
Your product images showcase what your product is all about. It’s one of the primary reasons that affect your customers buying decisions once they see your product listing. So it’s more than important to also edit your product images and make them appealing and beautiful.
You can just simply hire a graphic designer if you have a budget. Graphics designers use tools like Photoshop, so it’s a bonus if you know how to use Photoshop. But if you don’t how to use Photoshop just like me, or you don’t have that huge budget to hire graphic designers, then I would suggest you use a tool called Canva.

The huge file size of your product images will cause a slow loading speed for your product listing, and you don’t want that to happen. So after editing your product images, make sure to compress the file size before uploading it to your Shopee store. You can use tools like TinyPNG to easily reduce the image file size without affecting the quality of the picture.

3. Marketing Your Shopee Dropshipping Products
Getting sales is our main goal in starting a Shopee dropshipping business. If you’re not making any sales, it means you’re not making a profit or income from your store. Now, the easiest way to start generating sales on your Shopee dropshipping store is through running advertisements inside the Shopee platform.
It would take some time to get organic sales or the sales coming from the search results, so I would also suggest that you stay subscribed with Bilisbenta for at least three months.
