Maya (formerly known as PayMaya) and GCash are the two most popular online payment apps in the Philippines. So it’s not going to be a surprise if lots of people are searching for tutorials about how to use these platforms. And that’s how I decided to create this tutorial about how to send money from PayMaya to GCash.
I have used both these online payment apps for years, so I definitely know all of the main processes that we can do inside PayMaya and GCash.
As of writing this blog post, both PayMaya and GCash have the same main features. The only difference is that PayMaya is now offering Cryptocurrencies, and GCash is I guessed still in the process of building their system that will enable them to also offer cryptocurrencies as PayMaya does.
I have an account on both of these platforms, and it’s giving me multiple ways to conveniently do money transactions. The other benefit of having both GCash and Maya accounts that I have personally experienced is having each one as a backup, in case one of them conducts their system maintenance.
Alright! Enough talking, let’s go ahead and talk about the process of how to easily transfer money from PayMaya (Maya) to Gcash.
I also have a detailed blog post about how you can also transfer money from GCash to PayMaya, just in case you still need to know how to do it.
Here’s How To Send Money From Maya To GCash
Sending money from your PayMaya account to any GCash recipient is actually a simple process. It works the same as the process of transferring money to other banks like BPI. But since you’re here because you don’t know how to do it, please refer to the steps below.
Maya To GCash Transfer Fee 2022
Transferring money from PayMaya to GCash this year 2022 will cost (₱15.00) fifteen pesos. That’s how much PayMaya will charge you for transferring money from their platform to other banks. The good thing is that ₱15.00 is their flat rate, no matter how big the amount that you’re going to transfer to GCash, you will be only charged ₱15.00 as the transfer fee.
Minimum Transfer Maya To GCash
The minimum PayMaya account balance that you need to have for you to be able to transfer to GCash is (₱16.00) sixteen pesos. You can transfer an amount for as low as one peso ₱1 but the sad part is, you will still be charged a (₱15.00) pesos as the transfer fee.
Yes! Technically there’s no minimum amount for transferring money from PayMaya to GCash. You just need to have enough balance for the transfer fee which is ₱15.00 and of course, the amount that you’re going to transfer.
Maya To GCash Not Received
Your GCash recipient should instantly receive the amount you transfer from PayMaya. But in case that doesn’t happen, please wait at least five minutes and double-check the account details of your receiver.
If you have mistakenly input the wrong GCash details of your receiver, dial PayMaya’s toll-free number at 1-800-10-845-7788 and ask for help. If you have the correct details of your receiver and still your receiver did not receive the amount, then it might be that GCash is currently down for system maintenance. You can ask them by dialing GCash customer service at 2882.
That’s should be it. Please let me know in the comments if you still have questions. I hope I was able to help you with your concern today, learning how to transfer money from PayMaya to GCash.
