And by the way, please watch this video first before anything else…

What is Blog?

A blog is a discussion or an informational website where a writer or group of writers share their views on an individual subject. A blog is also a reference for all sorts of thing, like let’s say you wanna know “how to make money online” you just type into your browser and all of the results will be piled up, and that’s actually from a blog.

Blogging is one of the best ways to promote something (like a product) online. You can build an audience/readers through blogging and eventually monetize it and make money. Don’t worry, this blog post right here is a complete guide about everything on how you can get started blogging here in the Philippines.

Why Do You Need To Start A Blog?

Back in the day when I first launched my very own first blog, all I know was that it’s cool to have a .com at the end of my name. I mean like bragging to my friends saying such this line. “Bro. try typing in this on your browser” and they’re amazed that I have my own website.

And by the way, I don’t have any degree on IT-related courses whatsoever just like what I have mentioned above. I’m a college dropout and I just learn everything about websites through watching YouTube videos and some paid courses online.

I keep on learning about websites and how can I make money out of it, watching videos reading a blog post. And eventually, I made my first 100$ income online through Google AdSense. And from there, the money just keeps pouring in because I then also offered services like the one I have mentioned above “building websites for clients”.

Now, I assumed that you’re know started to have some idea why you need to start a blog. If you’re searching for a way on how you can start making money online or launching an online business, blogging is the best option you can choose.

Blogging is a long term business that can be your major source of income. A long term business that you can even pass on to your children or you can sell it for your retirement. I assumed that you already have some knowledge about how potential blogging is, coz obviously your here because you want to know how to create and launch your very own blog. And hat’s what this blog post all about.

How Much Does It Cost To Create A Blog?

Starting a blog here in the Philippines will just cost you under 2,000 pesos, yes you read it right. I see a lot of tutorials on YouTube suggesting you expensive hosting plans so that they could make money as an affiliate. But not today, because today I will share you the most affordable website hosting available in the market and that is through Namecheap.

And by the way, you need a card for online payments. A master card, VISA card or a simple Globe GCash if you don’t have a bank account yet, that’s how I get started.

This Is Where You Are Going To Spend Your 2,000 Pesos.

  • Domain Name: Domain name is your web address, like for my website “” and you need to pay for it. It’s like a business office address if you have an offline business.
  • Web Hosting: It’s what keeps your website online even while you sleep. It’s where you will be storing all your website files. If you have an office address with your offline business, then hosting is the office, like literally the building structure.

Here’s The Step By Step Guide On How You Create & Start A Blog In The Philippines
